UK BASS installation quick guide 

**IMPORTANT**

Unique programming techniques have been used to recreate the effect of compressor “side chaining”. Some parts output may be a great deal louder when the controlling part is muted or not being played back simultaneously. We suggest that you familiarize yourself with  all the patterns and songs at very low levels to avoid damage to audio equipment or hearing loss.

Please ensure that you back up your data before loading the UK BASS bank. Failure to do this will result in data loss as all patterns, songs and global data will be overwritten. 
To back up your data please refer to page 77 of the owner’s manual [Saving data to SmartMedia (save)]. 
*NOTE* owners of ELECTRIBE-MX SD, references to “SmartMedia” should be substituted with SD card.  
The following procedure outlines loading data from the memory card, for full details please refer to page 77-78 of the owner’s manual.

1)	Copy the downloaded file named “UKBASS” to the root directory of your memory card. 

2)	Press [GLOBAL], hold down [SHIFT] then press step key 13 (CARD), the LED will blink.

3)	The parameter display will indicate “CardMenu”

4)	The value display will indicate “Load”, press key 13.

5)	The parameter display will change to “Load” and value to “All”, press key 13.

6)	Select the file “UKBASS” using the value dial, press key 13.

7)	The parameter display will ask for confirmation, turn the dial to change the value dial from “No” to “Yes. Press key 13 to execute.

8)	When loading is complete the ELECTRIBE-MX will enter pattern mode with A01 selected.
